Recent feature in BRIDES magazine, showing you how to crystalize your own pansies for a pretty homespun cake. All the pansies on the cake that we supplied were grown organically in our garden away from nasty pesticides. We only use pasteurised egg whites so there is no danger to pregnant ladies and the elderly! Although if you buy eggs from a reputable source such as a supermarket you should be fine. Just want everyone to know how to crystalize flowers safely!
We love how pretty the cake turned out and the pansies looked so delicate with their sugar sparkle. What do you think? Would you have a flower themed wedding?

This months Wedding Magazine features many Pat- a- cake Pat- a- cake creations which is fantastic! Just wanted to show you a couple of our favourite cakes from a really inspiring feature- Perfect palettes. So great to see that it is possible to take on a more adventurous colour palette and get gorgeous results.We can do either cake in a variety of different flavours. Our favourites this month are vanilla and raspberry cake with a belgian white chocolate buttercream and passion fruit cake with fresh passion fruit buttercream filling extremely delicious and fresh, ideal for spring!
Both cakes are inspired by the current trends on the spring/ summer 2012 catwalk, we love to dip our toe into the fashion pool! It is a constant source of new and exciting ideas and it helps to keep things exciting!

Sweets for your sweet...
Just in time for Valentine's day, heart shaped cookies and cakes. Also seen in March/ April Brides Magazine, we made the heart shaped raspberry conserve and vanilla biscuits also the red velvet heart shaped wedding cake covered in pink vanilla buttercream. Perfect for a heart themed wedding! There really is some fantastic inspiration in this feature. Get yours in time for your loved ones on Valentines day, cookies are priced at £3.00 each and the wedding cake at £350 for three tiers. Wonderful heart themed inspiration.

Brides Magazine March/ April- Tea Time Feature
We have been featured in March/ April Brides Magazine with one of our new favourite cakes- The Ruffle!
I think this is the perfect look for a spring wedding, the phlox posy on top of the cakes is a gorgeous combination. The cakes are from left, white chocolate and swiss meringue buttercream cake with belgian chocolate filling, £85, serves 30, £150, serves 60, £105, serves 40. But we could do any flavour combination, it's a very versatile cake. It was extremely fun experimenting with all the different ruffles- hope you enjoy the pic!
